After completing his undergraduate degree at Loyola University, Dr. Brearley attended medical school at Uniformed Services University, Bethesda Maryland. After that he completed his internship at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and his orthopaedic residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas. He completed his Hand & Upper Extremity Fellowship at the University of Miami.

Dr. Brearley is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Wisconsin Medical Society, Marathon County Medical Society, and the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Brearley grew up in Chicago and is a veteran of the United States Air Force and Desert Storm. He’s been a part of OAW since 2002. In his free time he enjoys skiing, fishing, and watching Chicago sports teams.
